An expert in quality assurance, management services and lean manufacturing, Phil has assisted numerous CMC clients in quality and process improvements such as ISO 9000/QS-9000 compliance and certification, total quality management, gap analysis, training, team building, Kaizen Blitz and root cause analysis.
Prior to joining CMC in 1999, Phil served as quality manager for Elgiloy Specialty Metals, where he was responsible for implementation and maintenance of an ISO 9002 quality system, inspection and process capability studies and metallurgical and engineering technical support.
Phil holds a master's degree in mechanical engineering from Traian Vuia Polytechnic Institute in Timisoara , Romania , and is a graduate of the Metals Engineering Institute of ASM International. He is also a certified ISO 9000 lead auditor through Lloyd's Register QA, Ltd. and a member of the American Society for Quality.
