An experienced Project Manager, Jim is an expert in project planning and implementation, lean manufacturing and tooling, strategic and operational planning, change management, targeted engineering and product launches.
Jim brings 18 years experience with Ford Motor Company in variety of positions, with the most recent being Manufacturing Vehicle Launch Manager. In this role he was responsible for the launch of an $8 million production control and data collection system for six Ford Motor Co. assembly plants and management of $50 million in facility and logistics projects. Among the results he achieved were $20 million in warranty avoidances; a 40% improvement in new product ramp-up; $1 million per project savings and a 90% reduction in necessary training time were seen under James' management.
Jim has a bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Systems from Kettering University and a M.S. in Engineering Management from University of Detroit-Mercy.
